‘Interstellar’, ‘Unbroken’, Named Amongst Best Films Of 2014
TheAmerican Film Institutehas released its annual list of the best films of the year.
The list is considered an awards oracle, considering that the films it lists usually go on to win awards.
The films named includedBoyhood, Birdman, Selma, American Sniper, The Imitation Game, Interstellar, Into The Woods, Foxcatcher, Nightcrawler, UnbrokenandWhiplash.
The AFI’s Bob Gazzale said of the list:
“We celebrate these films … as more than just milestones in a year of excellence. They are a part of our American cultural heritage – collectively, a new chapter in the story of the art form and of our nation.”
